I had plans to attend the Don Johnson Buckeye State Eliminator, but was only able to go on Friday. Work decided to interfere with my personal plans. I hadn't worked a Saturday for months, and only 3 in the last 2 years. I took a vacation day Friday never considering that we might work the weekend. Then, when I got to work on Saturday, the bastards informed me that I was scheduled for Sunday too. Damn it all! Tonight I got home from work, changed out of my stinky clothes, paid the pizza delivery guy, and sat down to watch PBA bowling on DVR. Pizza, root beer, bowling! Yeah, a great evening. Wes Malott had a miserable day. Being afflicted with chronic back problems, I'm not a fan of the 2-handed boys, so I was glad to see Palermaa exit. Scroggins & Kretzer tried really hard to let the other guy off the hook. Kind of a sloppy session all around. I've got to find a job that doesn't mess with my bowling.
Top notch!
I finally got a ball drilled to specifications that suit my physical limitations. From over 100 miles away, and, with care & precision, my friend did what the experts have been unwilling/unable to do forever. In his freaking garage! I've been suggesting a radical left pitch for my thumb for years, but am met with disagreement, condescension, and anger from the bowling "experts". Never again! A non-professional, my friend, using improvised tools manipulated with superior skill & attention to detail resulted in something truly wonderful. It topped off a marvelous Christmas season that was the best since I was a boy.
And to all a good night.

I hope you get better. What's hurting you?
PinCupHad a guy here that developed elbow and rist problems. We had him drop the a 14lb and taught him the 4 step basic throw. He was a power bowler, straight and fast. Hard to teach him he could get more strikes with control than power.
Any chance your pro-shop guy will let you drill your own ball? He might learn somthing!
Maybe buy him a book " Pro-Shop basics". LOL
